Damnit, Chloe! There is no time!

24 is great television.  I'm also tragically behind and just worked my way into the seventh season.  Listen I know, but there's only so much time I can devote to watching shows.  Where would you get this great content from if that was all I did?

Hopefully this season will bring Jack fully back to the forefront and not just another character as in the previous season.  All this praise aside, sometimes the plot can be seen from miles away.  Such as knowing that Jack Bauer will only ever have to account to himself for his extreme methods, so a Senate hearing will get interrupted by some crazy whatever-bomb.  No court will ever convict the guy; there's always another crisis for him to handle.

I also started playing around with text additions tonight, as you can see/read clearly.  In the end, I'm trying to get an idea across, and if my terrible writing is getting in the way of that I'm wasting my time.

Anyone have any experience with digital tablets?  I've been idly shopping for one to help augment the tools I have to sketch and draw.  I doubt I'll ever go totally into the digital Matrix, but it will be nice to have the option to touch things up with a more natural feel to it.

I hope this all finds you well and that the weekend brings enough opportunity for you to invest in your own passions or hobbies.  I'm just lucky that I get most into my hobbies, so two birds and all that.  Eventually my goal is to create not only a community of friends and readers but also a resource for nerdsourcing ideas and projects.

Please take a second to follow me below and to sign up for email updates, it's very easy.   I hope to update this weekend for a bonus comic but otherwise I'll talk to you all again next Tuesday!

Keepin' it "Real"

We meet again, my faithful friends.  This posting has been inspired by the various alien invasion movies I've seen in the recent past.  Skyline and Battle: LA are two completely different movies but both have aliens out of nowhere kicking butt all over this green and blue marble.

Of the two, I definitely preferred Battle: LA as I found Skyline to be trying pretty hard to make me care about the lead characters.

I'm pretty fond of this submission, I'm starting to play around with fore and background a bit more in my simplistic way.  Eventually I'll be moving to darkened outlines or digital text, I haven't decided if my terrible handwriting is better or worse for the cause.

Please enjoy and share the link in whatever manner you choose below.  Leave me a comment or rate the post, and as always please follow the blog and/or enter your email address for a pain-free way to learn of my updates!  Thanks so much for visiting and we'll see you around the bend!

Setting The ... Appropriate Tone

Much to my own dismay, I've already begun to break into hack territory.  Anthropomorphic buddies are cool in my book, so don't expect this trend to disappear after this entry.

I was planning on doing a superhero comic, one of my unhealthy obsessions, but was more afraid of copyright infringement than anything else.  I'll have to ponder how best to tackle this going forward.

I'm also sure that since there are so many of you now digging these posts I'd be a big fish for some FBI agent's wall.  Don't worry, I'd never let them take me alive.

Speaking of all of you, let others know what you think by posting a comment or just simply clicking a rating button below.  Then when you're all hopped up on the adrenaline, move your mouse to the right and follow us so you can get updates and be part of something much bigger than any of us ever could be.  Heavy sarcasm aside, I appreciate the people who've been traveling here and sharing this very individual piece of me.  Take care and I'll be posting again very soon.

Well, they went SOMEwhere!

Good evening my multitudes!  This comic comes thanks to a throwaway conversation I had with some friends over the weekend.  I think it's pretty self-explanatory so I won't bore you any more than necessary.

Second regular posting down, eternity to go.  I'm starting to get into a quasi-groove and now I just need the talent to follow and we'll be set!

Please leave me comments so I know how to make things more you-friendly, even if it's the funny/not buttons at the bottom of the post.  Please follow me so you can get updates and let's get this community kicked off right!

Until we meet again, my friends!

After all the clamoring for new content from the hordes of visitors to this blog, BAM! I will be creating new content on a biweekly basis to start and hopefully ramping up as my skills de-rustify and my process becomes more streamlined.

This one is one of the ideas I kicked around for awhile after reading a certain someone's megahit novel about solving mysteries regarding religion. The thought struck me that if these elaborate puzzles were created to safeguard the world's secrets then there must be puzzles of a lesser degree just for living a regular life.

My least favorite part about this relatively quick one is the final panel; I'm not sure I got the girl's room/boy's room idea across clearly enough using the Italian and non-color images of a nun's habit and the papal hat. Regardless, I hope I can at least create a smirk and we'll work from there.

Thanks for coming, sign the guest book or post on this article and I'll be letting you into my brain more than you'll ever want to come very soon!
